In our new videos Web archiving – Here to stay and Web archiving – We’re stronger together several heritage professionals explain why web archiving is important institutions and how you get started. Also, we highlight how you can benefit from the expertise and experience of other heritage institutions in the Dutch Digital Heritage Network.
Project Coordinating web archiving
The videos are a result of the project Coordinating web archiving, that is lead by the Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision. The project team also works on building a National Register for Web archives. Next to that, there is an expert group consisting of professionals from diverse heritage institutions in the Netherlands. The expert group has been active since the end of 2016 and wants to promote collaboration and further professionalisation of heritage institutions.
At this moment, further information about these activities is only available in Dutch. Sorry for the inconvenience. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Arnoud Goos, project leader for web archiving, at email@example.com.
Digital Heritage Network
The Digital Heritage Network (Netwerk Digitaal Erfgoed) is a partnership in the Netherlands that focuses on developing a system of national facilities and services for improving the visibility, usability, and sustainability of digital heritage. The network is open to all institutions and organisations in the digital heritage field. Together we can make the most of our digital heritage and preserve it for future generations.
