The Digital Preservation Coalition (DPC) announced it is offering two scholarships for the annual Winter School for Audiovisual Archiving organised by The Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision. The training gives participants the practical knowledge to design and implement a preservation plan for their audiovisual collections. This year’s Winter School will take place from January 15 – 18, 2019.
Each scholarship covers full registration costs/course fees and a contribution towards travel and accommodation. The closing date for applications is 17:00 on Wednesday 14th November, and full guidelines and the application form are available in the Leadership Programme section of the DPC website.
Scholarships are available to all DPC members, including prospective members whose request to join is completed by the application deadline. Only one application can be made per member per call or per quarterly deadline for self-identified opportunities. Please coordinate with colleagues to ensure multiple applications are not submitted. Scholarships are not available to non-members.
